Ryan Wardwell, 46, geht am 10. August zu den Seven Teacups Wasserfällen in Kalifornien. Er will sich mit einem Seil die Felsen hinunterlassen. Aber das Wasser ist zu stark. Es drückt ihn hinter einen Wasserfall. Dort sitzt er zwei Tage lang fest, nass und kalt.

Als er nicht zu seinem Auto zurückkommt, macht sich die Polizei auf die Suche nach ihm. Sie setzen eine Drohne ein und finden ihn später. Ein großer Hubschrauber kommt und holt ihn heraus. Ryan ist am Leben, aber sehr durstig und müde. Er hat nur kleine Verletzungen. Er ist froh, seine Familie wiederzusehen.

Die Polizei rät den Menschen, sich in der Nähe starker Flüsse in Sicherheit zu bringen.
