Künstler und Schriftsteller können Mickey und Minnie Mouse jetzt frei verwenden. Diese Änderung kommt nach 96 Jahren.

Disney wird keinen Ärger machen. Aber es gibt natürlich ein paar Regeln. Diese Änderung gilt für die alten Versionen von Mickey, wie den schwarz-weißen Mickey aus ‘Steamboat Willie‘.

Disney hat immer noch die Kontrolle über die späteren Versionen von Mickey, wie z. B. Sorcerer Mickey aus ‘Fantasia‘. Außerdem hat Disney ein besonderes Zeichen auf Mickey, so dass niemand sonst ihn so benutzen kann wie sie. Du kannst Mickey Mouse nicht als Maskottchen verwenden. Aber wenn du deinen eigenen ‘Steamboat Willie‘ machen willst, dann sei ruhig kreativ!
