Elizabeth Holmes, die Gründerin des Unternehmens Theranos, ging für 11 Jahre ins Gefängnis, weil sie Investoren belogen hatte. Holmes versprach eine völlig neue Bluttesttechnologie, um Geld von ihnen zu bekommen. Doch das Unternehmen wurde 2018 geschlossen.

Am Dienstag kam Holmes in einem Gefangenenlager in Texas an und schien recht glücklich zu sein. Das Lager ist für Frauen, die niemandem etwas getan haben, und sie arbeiten dort. Holmes wollte länger aus dem Gefängnis bleiben, aber der Richter lehnte das ab. Bevor sie ins Gefängnis ging, verbrachte Holmes Zeit mit ihrer Familie. Holmes’ Partnerin ging ebenfalls für 13 Jahre ins Gefängnis.

Nach ihrer Entlassung aus dem Gefängnis muss Holmes Regeln befolgen und den Leuten, die sie betrogen hat, Geld geben.
