Kenia hat ein gutes Programm zur HIV-Prävention. Aber jetzt hat das Land ein großes Problem. Es gibt keine kostenlosen Kondome mehr.

Die Vereinigten Staaten und andere Länder helfen nicht mehr. Jetzt haben arme Menschen und Sexarbeiterinnen keine Kondome mehr. Sie können sich diese nicht leisten. Gesundheitsfachkräfte sagen, dass das überhaupt nicht sicher ist. Viele junge Mädchen werden schwanger, und viele Menschen erkranken.

Ein bekannter Aktivist sagt, dass er seine Arbeit jetzt nicht mehr gut machen kann. Er kann nicht mehr zu Schulen oder Büros fahren. Er hat keine Kondome mehr, die er den Leuten geben könnte. Wenn die Behörden nicht helfen, wird sich HIV wieder sehr schnell ausbreiten.
