Die dreijährige Claire Bell aus Quebec, Kanada, wird seit dem Vatertag vermisst. Ihre Mutter, Rachel-Ella Todd, 34 Jahre alt, ist jetzt im Gefängnis.
Rachel hat sich per Video vor Gericht gemeldet. Die Polizei sucht mit Hubschraubern, Drohnen und Polizisten nach Claire. Sie haben Claires toten Hund am Straßenrand gefunden. Nur wenige Stunden bevor Claire verschwand, postete Rachel ein Video auf TikTok. Darin hält sie Claire fest und sagt: ‘Wenn du das noch einmal versuchst, wird es hässlich werden.‘
Die Polizei sagt, dass sie auch online nach Urnen für Kinderbestattungen gesucht hat. Rachel hatte in der Vergangenheit keine Probleme mit der Polizei und keine psychischen Probleme. Der Richter kann weitere Anklagepunkte hinzufügen. Der nächste Gerichtstermin ist am Mittwoch.
