Die FIFA wird einen neuen Friedenspreis stiften. Die erste Zeremonie wird nächsten Monat in Washington, DC, stattfinden.

FIFA-Präsident Gianni Infantino sagt, dass der Preis für Menschen gedacht ist, die sich für den Frieden einsetzen. Er sagt nicht, wer ihn bekommen wird. Fußball kann Menschen helfen, zusammenzukommen und Hoffnung zu spüren. Infantino ist ein Freund von US-Präsident Donald Trump. Einige Leute denken, dass Trump den Preis bekommen könnte. Die FIFA sagt, dass Fußball und Politik zwei verschiedene Dinge sind.

Irgendjemand wird den Preis bei der WM-Auslosung am 5. Dezember bekommen. Viele Menschen finden das lustig. Einigen gefällt die Idee, dass Fußball zum Frieden beitragen kann. Der Preis ist neu und zeigt, dass der Sport versuchen kann, etwas Gutes für die Welt zu tun.
