Neura Robotics, geleitet von David Reger, ist ein deutsches Unternehmen, das hochmoderne Roboter entwickelt. Ihr humanoider Roboter 4NE-1 kann Aufgaben zu Hause und in Fabriken übernehmen.

David, der als Sozialarbeiter begann, lernte die Robotik mit Hilfe von Experten kennen. Er fand Unterstützung in China und sammelte später 100 Millionen Euro in Europa. Die Fabrik von Neura befindet sich in Stuttgart, wo sie sich auf die Automatisierung konzentrieren.

Das Unternehmen stellt billige Schweißroboter her und entwickelt Sensoren zur Erkennung von Menschen. Neura beschäftigt 260 Menschen aus 35 Ländern und erhält jeden Monat Tausende von Bewerbungen. Bis 2030 will das Unternehmen 5 Millionen Roboter herstellen und erwartet in diesem Jahr einen Umsatz von 50 Millionen Euro. Neuras Ziel ist es, die Robotik in Deutschland zu einer noch größeren Industrie zu machen als das Auto.
