Japan hat eine neue Insel. Die Insel ist etwa 100 Meter breit. Sie liegt in der Ogasawara-Inselkette.

Ein Vulkan unter dem Meer in der Nähe der Iwoto-Insel bildet die Insel. Der Vulkan bricht im Oktober aus. Es kommt zu großen Eruptionen. Diese passieren, wenn Magma auf Wasser trifft. Professor Fukashi Maeno sieht die Insel. Er fliegt oberhalb des Vulkans. Rauch und Asche steigen bei den Ausbrüchen auf.
