Im letzten Finanzquartal ist das Cloud-Geschäft von Microsoft sehr stark gewachsen, sogar stärker als von Experten vorhergesagt.

Das lag vor allem daran, dass Microsoft in künstliche Intelligenz (KI) investiert hat, und infolgedessen stiegen die Aktien von Microsoft um 5 %. Die Aktien der Google-Muttergesellschaft Alphabet fielen dagegen um 7 %. Microsofts Erfolg ist zum Teil auf die starke Förderung von KI-Technologien wie Copilots und GenAI zurückzuführen. Außerdem investierte das Unternehmen in das KI-Startup OpenAI, was sich auszahlte.

Die KI-Technologie wurde Teil verschiedener Microsoft-Produkte, wie Bing, Microsoft 365 und Github. Microsoft verließ sich auf bestehende Beziehungen zu größeren Kunden, was eine gute Geschäftsstrategie war.
