Nordkorea hat ein neues Urlaubsgebiet eröffnet: die Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Zone. Dort gibt es Hotels, Geschäfte, Restaurants und sogar einen Wasserpark.

Das Gebiet war für internationale Touristen geplant, aber im Moment können nur Russen es besuchen. Sie kommen in Gruppen, die von offiziellen Reiseunternehmen organisiert werden. Russische Besucher sagten, der Strand sei schön und das Resort sei gut, aber es gäbe noch viele Regeln.

Nordkorea hofft, dass das Projekt Geld einbringen wird. Das Land braucht ausländisches Geld wie Euro, Dollar oder Rubel. Früher kamen viele Chinesen, aber seit COVID-19 kommen nur noch ein paar hundert Russen jeden Monat.

Experten glauben, dass Nordkorea auch seine Freundschaft mit Russland zeigen und beweisen will, dass es Touristen willkommen heißen kann.
