Südkoreas Spionagebehörde berichtet, dass Nordkorea Soldaten schickt, um Russland in seinem Krieg mit der Ukraine zu unterstützen.

Die Nachricht kommt, nachdem der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Zelenskij gesagt hat, dass bis zu 10.000 nordkoreanische Soldaten dem Konflikt bald beitreten könnten. Nach Angaben Südkoreas sind bereits 1.500 Soldaten nach Russland gegangen.

Außerdem hat Nordkorea seit August 2023 über 13.000 Container mit Waffen nach Russland geschickt. Die westlichen Länder machen sich zunehmend Sorgen über die Beteiligung Nordkoreas am Krieg.

Sowohl Nordkorea als auch Russland sagen, dass diese Dinge nicht wahr sind. Die NATO bestätigte die Nachricht nicht, aber der südkoreanische Präsident Yoon Suk Yeol rief die Länder auf, bei der Bewältigung dieser gefährlichen Situation zu helfen.
