Das Amani Festival zieht um – Level 2

04.03.2026, 07:00 Das Amani-Festival ist ein bekanntes Kultur-Event in Goma, DR Kongo. 2026 wird es dort wegen Problemen in der Region nicht stattfinden. Stattdessen wird es in Lubumbashi im Süden des Kongo abgehalten.

Die Organisatoren sagen, es wäre schwierig, das Festival in Goma zu organisieren, weil einige Künstler vielleicht nicht in eine gefährliche Gegend reisen wollen. Die M23-Rebellen haben Goma im Januar 2025 eingenommen.

Das Festival gibt’s seit 2014 und steht für Frieden und Zusammenleben. Viele Leute in Goma sind traurig, dass das Festival wegzieht, aber sie verstehen den Grund dafür. Die Organisatoren sagen, dass es bei dem Festival immer noch um Frieden, Kultur und Hoffnung für junge Leute geht.
